Hello and welcome to another exciting year here at Newton High School. My name is Marcus Carver and I am the AB Unit teacher and coachl. I have a bachelor's in Applied Arts and Science with a Minor in Health and Kinesiology from Lamar University. Also, received my Masters in Administration from Concordia University.  This is my 11th year at Newton prior to that I spent three years at Lamar University coaching football. Here at Newton I also coach football and softball. I am married and have one daughter and one son. I am a US Military veteran of 10 years in the Army and a 2001 graduate of Newton High School. So I love Newton and want the students of Newton to succeed in everything they do from academics to athletics. I look forward to working to the upcoming school year.
