My name is Connie Lemons. I graduated from DeQuincy High Schoool in DeQuincy, Louisiana in 1974. I graduated from McNeese State University in Lake Charles, Louisiana in 2000. 

I have a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education. I also have a Texas Certification for Elementary Self-Contained for grades 1-8 and Special Education for grades EC-12.

I was married in 1974 and I have two children.  I have a son and a daughter. They are both grown and gone. They have blessed me with 7 grandchildren. Most of my spare time is spent with my grandchildren. 

When I am not teaching or spending time with my grandkids, I am usually planting something in my yard. I love growing trees and plants at my home. I also love to cook.
