Newton ISD was featured in the TASA (Texas Association of School Administrators) yearly magazine Bragging Rights. There were almost 200 schools nominated for the publication based on their innovative programs and how they serve students. Only 12 districts were chosen to be spotlighted in the publication, Newton was chosen for our Culinary Arts program and Eagle's Landing.

Breakfast in the Classroom

Beginning November 28, 2016, Newton Elementary will offer BIC (Breakfast in the Classroom).  The BIC program takes the traditional school breakfast approach and improves it with one key ingredient:  the classroom.

Each morning, your child will have breakfast delivered to his/her homeroom class where it will be eaten.  Breakfast will be available to all children and will be served prior to classroom instruction.  This maximizes participation.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding our new BIC Program, please contact me.

Thank you, Kathy Morrow - Food Service Director
