These students will be attending the State Leadership Conference in Dallas to compete in March.

After competing, the students went to the Ronald McDonald House to deliver the  24 gallons of can tabs which had been collected throughout the year.  While there, the manager spoke to the students about how RMH was started and the many, many wonderful things that they do to assist the sick children and their families from transporting them to and from the hospitals for treatments, to having an in-house school, providing rooms at little or no cost to the families, and assisting with meals. This is only a small portion of the things that they do for their residents.  The money from tabs collected goes to provide the children with passes to activities such as sporting events, etc. while they area staying at RMH for their treatments.

Bullying is not tolerated by Newton ISD. Any parent or student who believes that a student has experienced bullying or has engaged in bullying is encouraged to report the incident immediately to the appropriate campus.
