7th Grade Teacher
I am a Newton High School Alumni, Class of 1993.
I went to college at Cameron University in Lawton, Oklahoma.
I graduated with my Bachelor’s in Elementary Education in 2016 from Cameron University in Lawton, Oklahoma.
I graduated with my Master’s in Educational Leadership in 2020 from Cameron University in Lawton, Oklahoma.
This is my first year teaching at Newton Middle School. I will be teaching 7th grade Science. This is my 8th year teaching.
For the past seven years I have taught at Lawton Public Schools in Lawton, Oklahoma. I began teaching 2nd grade in 2016. I taught 2nd grade for one year, 3rd grade for two years, and 4th grade for four years.
I have three boys of my own, Devin, Thomas, and Terry. I have a step-daughter that I raised for 10 years, Dani. I also have three boys that I call my own, Caden who is Thomas’s best friend, and my boyfriend’s boys Ty, and Eddie. And I have a dog named Delilah.
My oldest, Devin (who is 23 this year), lives in Duncan, Oklahoma.
My middle son, Thomas, just graduated from Duncan High School and is currently attending Cameron University in Lawton, Oklahoma, and his best friend, Caden, is attending a college in Kansas on a golf scholarship.
My youngest, Terry is 15, is a Sophomore at Newton High School, and hopes to play basketball and do the high jump for track.
My step-daughter, Dani, is a Freshman at Duncan High School in Duncan, Oklahoma.
My boyfriend’s son Eddie is a Freshman here at Newton High School, and his oldest Ty lives in Oklahoma.
We have a dog named Delilah and plan to add more animals before next summer.
