 I am a 1992 graduate of Newton High School.  I attended McNeese State University, received a degree in Business Education and have been in education for 20 years.  I taught at LC-M High School for two years beginning in 1997.  My husband, Tabor, and I returned to Newton (the first time) just before my daughter, Dru,  was born in 1999.  We were here for about 5 years during which I taught 6th grade math at the middle school.  My son, Brice, was born in 2002.  We left again and worked for a few great school districts and had the opportunity to meet some great people.  We are so thankful that God has blessed us with the opportunity to move back to our home and work in Newton ISD again!

Grading Policy:

Daily/classwork grades:  40%

Test grades:  60%

There will be a minimum of 6 daily grades and 3 test grades each six weeks.

I do not always offer extra credit, but students will be given ample opportunity to be successful on every assignment.
